Key Responsibilities
- Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and masking according to specifications.
- Apply paint, primer, and topcoats to aircraft using appropriate spray equipment and techniques.
- Ensure all paint applications meet strict aviation standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Inspect finished surfaces for defects such as runs, sags, and unevenness, performing necessary touch-ups.
- Maintain all painting equipment, tools, and the work area in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
- Collaborate effectively with maintenance and engineering teams to ensure project timelines are met.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Aircraft Painter or in a similar industrial painting role, preferably in aviation.
- Thorough knowledge of paint application techniques, materials, and aviation safety protocols.
- Ability to work meticulously with strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
- Capable of working at various heights and in confined spaces when necessary.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks for extended periods.
- Possession of relevant vocational training or certifications in painting or automotive finishing is a plus.
