Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage authorization requests for surgical and scheduled medical procedures.

- Liaise with medical staff, patients, and insurance companies to ensure timely approvals.
- Maintain accurate records of all authorization requests and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
- Resolve authorization-related issues and discrepancies promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare authorizations or a similar administrative role.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT codes, and insurance processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
- Proficiency in healthcare management software and office applications.
- Ability to work meticulously and independently in a fast-paced environment.
