Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security assessments and penetration testing for various applications.
- Develop and implement robust application security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Provide expert guidance on secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, and threat modeling.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate security controls throughout the SDLC.
- Monitor and analyze application security events and incidents, ensuring timely response and resolution.
- Stay updated with the latest application security threats, trends, and evolving technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in application security, penetration testing, or vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of secure coding principles and common web application vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies for application scanning, analysis, and protection.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CSSLP, OSCP) are highly advantageous.
