Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the management and coordination of vessel arrivals and departures.
- Supervise docking and undocking operations, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain records of vessel movements, cargo operations, and port activities.
- Communicate effectively with ship crews, port authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Respond to emergencies and implement necessary procedures to mitigate risks.
- Support the Dock Master in daily operational tasks and administrative duties.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a similar role within a port or maritime environment.
- Strong understanding of port operations, vessel management, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
