Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the footwear laboratory, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Oversee testing procedures for footwear materials and finished products.
- Ensure all laboratory activities comply with PUMA’s quality standards and international regulations.
- Lead and mentor laboratory technicians and staff.
- Collaborate with product development and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues.
- Implement new testing methods and technologies to improve lab capabilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a footwear or textile laboratory setting, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of footwear material testing standards and equipment.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes in the sports apparel industry.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
