Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials and supplies.
- Maintain organized inventory records and conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy.
- Optimize storage layout and arrange stock for easy accessibility and retrieval.
- Prepare and issue materials to various departments based on authorized requests.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and security protocols within the store environment.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, tidy, and efficient warehouse or store area.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role, preferably 2+ years.
- Familiarity with standard inventory control procedures and warehouse operations.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials as required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for record-keeping.
