The Mae Fah Luang Foundation is seeking an Assistant Sustainability Manager to support its mission of sustainable development in Thailand. This role involves assisting in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability initiatives across the foundation’s diverse programs, contributing to environmental conservation and social well-being in local communities.
Company Overview
Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra initially founded the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage in 1969 as the Thai Hill Crafts Foundation, to aid the hill communities by marketing their traditional crafts and later to support the education of more than 400 ethnic minority youth. As the foundation"s work shifted away from marketing of hill crafts and into much broader economic and social development for both hill communities and low-land Thais, it was renamed in 1985 as the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness the Princess Mother. After the Princess Mother passed away in 1995, His Majesty the King took the Foundation under his patronage and appointed his daughter, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, as honorary President. The Foundation"s mandate is to continue the legacy of the Princess Mother to benefit as many people as possible and to inspire new generations to be responsible citizens.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability strategies and programs.
- Support data collection and analysis for environmental and social impact assessments.
- Coordinate with various departments to integrate sustainable practices into operations.
- Help prepare reports and presentations on sustainability performance and progress.
- Research best practices and emerging trends in sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
- Engage with community stakeholders and partners on sustainability initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Development Studies, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Thai is a significant advantage.
