Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and direct them to guest rooms, staff, or departments.
• Place outgoing calls and receive/deliver messages efficiently.
• Log all service requests, defects, and incidents in GXP.
• Provide information about hotel services to guests.
• Monitor automated systems including CCTV when engineering and maintenance is closed.
• Ensure room service orders are taken efficiently and accurately.

Requirements

• Must be polite and courteous while answering the phone.
• Ability to understand telephone operator board or PBX switchboard operations.
• Awareness of health and safety, fire, and bomb threat procedures.
• Multitasking abilities will be helpful.
• Ability to train or assist with training new telephone operators.
