Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test robust automation software for material handling equipment.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless software-hardware integration.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing automation systems and develop solutions.
- Contribute to software architecture, design decisions, and technical specifications.
- Ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of software products.
- Participate actively in code reviews and continuous improvement processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software development, preferably in automation or embedded systems.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java.
- Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software development.
- Understanding of industrial automation protocols (e.g., Profinet, EtherCAT) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a global environment.
