Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Azure data solutions tailored for the airline industry.
• Develop comprehensive data architecture strategies, including data lakes, data warehouses, and robust data pipelines.
• Ensure stringent data governance, security, and compliance across all Azure data platforms.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and development teams to translate complex business requirements into effective technical designs.
• Optimize existing and new data solutions for maximum performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and expert guidance to data engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Data Architect with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.
• Proven expertise and understanding of the airline domain, including its specific data challenges and requirements.
• Strong proficiency in various Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Excellent understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and robust data governance principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead architectural discussions, make critical design decisions, and mentor junior team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
