Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a wide variety of baked goods, including breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all baked items.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
• Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed.
• Assist in training junior bakers and ensuring adherence to company standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within a high-volume food service environment, preferably on a cruise ship.
• Proficiency in various baking techniques and the use of baking equipment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
