Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle medical billing, including accurate charge entry, claims submission, and payment posting.
- Perform denial management and appeals to maximize reimbursement from insurance companies.
- Ensure strict adherence to all medical billing regulations, payer guidelines, and HIPAA compliance.
- Communicate effectively with patients, insurance carriers, and healthcare providers in both English and Spanish.
- Reconcile accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and prepare relevant financial reports.
- Utilize medical billing software efficiently for all operational tasks and record-keeping.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Full-Cycle Medical Biller, ideally within a healthcare provider environment.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding.
- Proficiency in using medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage a high volume of claims independently while maintaining accuracy.
