Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical methods for analyzing complex datasets, primarily within the energy sector.
• Conduct in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and significant insights from data.
• Collaborate with research, analyst, and IT teams to interpret findings and develop actionable reports.
• Develop and validate robust statistical models to support strategic decision-making processes.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data, adhering to strict statistical best practices.
• Present complex statistical results and methodologies clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Biostatistician or in a similar data analysis and statistical role.
• Strong proficiency in statistical software and programming languages (e.g., R, SAS, Python).
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex statistical concepts and results effectively, both written and verbal.
• Experience working with large, diverse datasets, preferably within the oil & gas or energy industry.
