    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the energy industry in China and surrounding regions.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and prospective clients.
    • Present Rystad Energy’s diverse portfolio of data, analytics, and advisory services.
    • Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve and exceed set revenue targets.
    • Collaborate closely with research and product teams to customize solutions for client needs.
    • Provide market intelligence and feedback to internal teams to inform product development and strategy.

    Requirements

    • Proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably within the energy, commodities, or financial information sectors.
    • Solid understanding of the global energy markets, including oil and gas, renewables, and power.
    • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently, manage a sales pipeline, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
    • Fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential for this role in Shanghai.
