Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and detailed rebar shop drawings, bending schedules, and material lists using CAD software.
- Interpret engineering and architectural drawings and specifications for rebar detailing.
- Ensure all rebar detailing work complies with relevant industry standards, codes, and project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and clients to resolve detailing issues and discrepancies.
- Review and verify drawings for constructability, accuracy, and completeness.
- Maintain organized project files and documentation for all rebar detailing activities.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CAD software for rebar detailing (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla Structures).
- Strong understanding of civil/structural engineering principles and rebar fabrication/installation practices.
- Ability to interpret complex structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of international rebar detailing codes and standards (e.g., ACI, BS, Eurocode).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawing production.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
