Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily cargo operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and mentor the Cargo Operations Center team, fostering a high-performance work environment.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to optimize cargo flow and resource utilization.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments and external partners for smooth freight logistics.
- Respond promptly to operational incidents, emergencies, and resolve issues with minimal disruption.
- Ensure strict adherence to Etihad’s service standards, security protocols, and international aviation regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in cargo or airline operations management.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation cargo handling, customs procedures, and safety regulations.
- Ability to thrive and perform effectively in a dynamic, 24/7 operational environment.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
