Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
- Take accurate measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to cut lists.
- Build window frames, doors, staircases and furniture and install them.
- Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
- Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a carpenter.
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Good understanding of basic mathematics.
- Good physical condition and endurance.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
- Experience with tools and equipment.
