Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
- Issue receipts, refunds, and provide correct change to customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and checkout area.
- Reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, answering basic inquiries.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role (2+ years preferred).
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
