Job Overview
Reyson Badger is seeking a detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our Abu Dhabi office. You will prepare and examine financial records, lead audit engagements, support tax compliance, and advise clients on financial planning, budgeting, and reporting. Working with cross-border teams (UAE, UK, USA, KSA), you’ll ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and deliverables that meet our firm’s quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Plan and execute external audits; document findings and recommend improvements.
- Prepare corporate/individual tax computations and filings; support VAT and withholding compliance.
- Perform budget variance analysis, cash-flow forecasting, and management reporting.
- Maintain general ledgers, reconciliations, and working papers; ensure proper internal controls.
- Advise clients on accounting policies, process optimization, and compliance matters.
- Liaise with stakeholders (clients, regulators, banks) and support year-end close.
Requirements
- CPA certification (active) and Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance or related field.
- Proven experience in financial statement preparation, audits, and tax preparation.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and UAE tax/VAT environment.
- Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency; strong analytical/problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork; prior public accounting firm experience is a plus.
