Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in all aspects of kitchen management and operations.
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes, standards, and guest specifications.
- Ensure that all dishes are presented beautifully and consistently to meet quality expectations.
- Oversee and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of your assigned kitchen section.
- Monitor inventory levels for your station and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
- Train and support junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Requirements
- Demonstrable passion for culinary arts and a desire to grow within the hospitality industry.
- Completion of a culinary vocational certificate or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a dynamic, fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a positive and proactive attitude.
