Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., sauces, pastry, grill).
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation specifications.
- Ensure all food items are prepared and stored in accordance with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Monitor inventory, minimize waste, and contribute to cost control efforts.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on menu development and special events.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable kitchen.
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding culinary environment.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
