Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets accurately and timely.
• Ensure strict compliance with local accounting standards, regulations, and school financial policies.
• Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, and financial forecasting to maintain liquidity.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3-5 years in a senior or Chief Accountant role, preferably within an educational setting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance requirements in the UAE.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a commitment to teamwork.
