Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, and fixed assets.
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and prepayments prior to final posting.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with IFRS and applicable accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT regulations, and statutory filing requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes and follow-ups.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong background in financial reporting, audits, VAT, and statutory compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with ERP and accounting systems.
- Fluency in English and Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
