Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all stewarding operations, including dishwashing, cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards in all kitchen and service areas.
- Lead, train, and motivate the stewarding team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee inventory, purchasing, and proper storage of all stewarding supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless operational flow during events and daily service.
- Implement and maintain efficient waste management and recycling programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in stewarding or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry (5+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage inventory and control costs effectively.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
