Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise all stewarding operations, including dishwashing, cleaning, and equipment maintenance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards in all kitchen and service areas.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the stewarding team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Oversee inventory, purchasing, and proper storage of all stewarding supplies and equipment.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless operational flow during events and daily service.
  • Implement and maintain efficient waste management and recycling programs.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in stewarding or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory and control costs effectively.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • A proactive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
