Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure materials and services from local and international suppliers, with a focus on Chinese-speaking markets.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and favorable agreements.
- Manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain.
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments to understand and fulfill procurement needs and timelines.
- Ensure strict compliance with company policies and relevant industry regulations in all procurement processes.
- Utilize fluency in Mandarin Chinese to facilitate seamless communication and build strong relationships with Chinese suppliers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a relevant role.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential for this role.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial environment.
