Key Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation standards.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, tables, tools, and equipment.
- Monitor food quality and ensure adherence to temperature guidelines.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- Ability to understand and follow recipes and quality standards.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
