Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all financial accounting, reporting, and control activities.
- Ensure strict compliance with local and international accounting standards and tax regulations.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes to support strategic planning.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses.
- Provide strategic financial guidance and insights to the management team for informed decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, local GAAP) and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Fluent communication skills in both Portuguese and English, essential for a global environment.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to mentor and develop a finance team.
