Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust cost control systems and procedures for projects.
- Monitor project expenditures, analyze variances, and prepare detailed cost reports.
- Prepare accurate project cost forecasts, ensuring adherence to budget constraints.
- Identify potential cost overruns and recommend effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, procurement, and planning teams.
- Review and approve project invoices, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in cost control within the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in cost control software and advanced MS Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
