Senior Planning Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic planning initiatives to drive business growth.
- Lead and manage a team of planning engineers to ensure timely and accurate project planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and develop project schedules.
- Monitor and track project progress, identify bottlenecks, and propose solutions to ensure project timelines are met.
- Review and analyze project data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to minimize project risks.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and escalate issues as needed.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and contractors.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in project planning and management.
- Train and mentor junior planning engineers to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Hands-on experience in EOT Claims, payments, etc.
Desired Candidate Profile
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certification in project management (e.g., PMP) preferred.
- Hands-on experience in Primavera and related planning tools.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project planning and management.
- Experience in the construction or engineering industry is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Self-motivated and proactive in taking initiatives.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
