Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
  • Build and optimize data models for various analytical and machine learning needs.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, researchers, and other engineers to understand data requirements.
  • Implement and manage data warehousing and big data solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data infrastructure for optimal performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Scala).
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions and BI tools.
  • Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
