Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data privacy policies and procedures in line with UAE laws and international standards.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and ensure compliance across all organizational operations.
- Advise on complex data protection matters and act as the primary contact for regulatory inquiries.
- Manage data subject requests and respond to data breaches, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Provide training and raise awareness on data privacy best practices within the organization.
- Monitor changes in data privacy laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
Requirements
- Must be a UAE National.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data privacy, legal, or compliance roles.
- Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, UAE data privacy laws).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Law, IT, or a related field.
- Professional certification in data privacy (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM) is highly desirable.
