Job Overview

Grupo DEACERO is looking for a Data Product Owner in Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and driving the strategy, roadmap, and execution for data products, ensuring they meet critical business needs and deliver measurable value across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for various data products.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable data product specifications.
• Prioritize data product features and initiatives based on business value and strategic goals.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, analytics, and business teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Monitor data product performance, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure that data products comply with all relevant data governance, privacy, and security standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role with a strong focus on data products.
• Solid understanding of data ecosystems, analytics, business intelligence, and data warehousing.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise business language.
• Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related quantitative field.
