Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with data protection laws and regulations.
- Conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for data protection inquiries.
- Provide training to employees on data protection requirements.
- Manage and report data breaches.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Protection Officer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of GDPR and other data protection laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM) are a plus.
