Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy advanced computer vision models and algorithms for public sector applications.
  • Conduct research and experimentation with state-of-the-art AI and machine learning techniques, particularly in image and video analysis.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional and inter-agency teams to identify and address complex data science challenges.
  • Design and implement robust data pipelines for efficient processing of large-scale image and video datasets.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and roadmap of AI initiatives within GovTech’s AI Practice.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and share technical expertise and best practices across the team.

Requirements

  • Strong foundational knowledge and practical experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with relevant AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps practices for model deployment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong capability to work with diverse, complex datasets.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills for engaging with stakeholders and technical teams.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a closely related quantitative field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
