    Club Med is seeking a Demi Chef (Confeitaria) to join their resort team in Portugal or potentially abroad. This role involves contributing to the resort’s culinary excellence, specifically within the pastry and confectionery section, ensuring guests enjoy delightful sweet treats.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare a variety of desserts, pastries, and confectionery items according to Club Med standards.
    • Ensure high-quality presentation and taste of all sweet creations.
    • Manage inventory of ingredients and report stock needs to the Head Chef.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with hygiene regulations.
    • Collaborate effectively with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
    • Contribute to menu development and innovation for the dessert section.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Demi Chef or similar role in a pastry kitchen.
    • Strong knowledge of confectionery techniques and baking principles.
    • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
    • Excellent attention to detail and creativity in presentation.
    • Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
    • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
