    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop hardware and software.
    • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, operating systems, and applications.
    • Respond to and resolve IT-related issues reported by end-users in a timely manner.
    • Perform regular system updates, patches, and security checks.
    • Manage IT inventory, assets, and documentation for desktop environments.
    • Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and system improvements.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer or in a similar IT support role.
    • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS) and basic hardware diagnostics.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.
    • Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
