Mandarin Oriental is seeking a highly experienced Director of Engineering to lead the Engineering and Information Technology departments in Maldives. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of property maintenance, system operations, and technological infrastructure to ensure the highest standards of luxury and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all engineering, maintenance, and information technology operations across the property.
- Ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all hotel systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to preserve asset value and guest comfort.
- Oversee all capital expenditure projects, renovations, and upgrades from planning to completion.
- Manage departmental budgets, control costs, and ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Director of Engineering or a similar senior leadership role in luxury hospitality.
- Strong background in building mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) systems, and IT infrastructure.
- Exceptional leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage complex projects, budgets, and resources effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of international hotel engineering standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with all levels of staff and stakeholders.
