Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all engineering and maintenance operations, ensuring efficient and safe functioning of hotel facilities.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all building systems, equipment, and grounds.
• Oversee renovation and construction projects, ensuring compliance with brand standards, local regulations, and budget.
• Manage departmental budgets, expenditures, and capital planning for engineering initiatives.
• Recruit, train, and mentor the engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices within the property.

Requirements

• Proven experience (10+ years) in a leadership engineering role, preferably within a luxury hotel or large-scale hospitality environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage budgets, vendors, and a diverse technical team effectively.
• Familiarity with local safety, building codes, and environmental regulations in Azerbaijan.
