Mandarin Oriental is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial operations and strategy for its luxurious property in the Maldives. This pivotal role involves overseeing all financial aspects, ensuring profitability, and upholding the brand’s high standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee all accounting functions, financial reporting, and budget management.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company financial policies.
• Manage financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for optimal performance.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Collaborate with executive management to drive profitability and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Director of Finance or similar senior financial role, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to strategically analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
• High level of integrity and professional ethics.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
