Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular testing and validation of disaster recovery processes and infrastructure.
- Coordinate with various IT teams to ensure the recoverability of critical systems and applications.
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities to business operations and propose mitigation strategies.
- Document all disaster recovery activities, test results, and update plans accordingly.
- Provide training and awareness sessions on disaster recovery protocols to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in disaster recovery planning, execution, and management.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, server virtualization, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and respond rapidly to emergency situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical teams.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and standards in business continuity and disaster recovery (e.g., ISO 22301).
