Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the M-Pesa Finance function, overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the growth and profitability of M-Pesa services.
  • Ensure strict adherence to financial regulations, reporting standards, and Vodafone group policies.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to M-Pesa and senior leadership.
  • Drive financial performance through effective cost control, revenue assurance, and risk management.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.

Requirements

  • Extensive leadership experience in finance, preferably within the fintech or telecommunications sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, strategic planning, and performance analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant financial regulations and accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and drive complex financial projects.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
