Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor robust EHS policies and procedures.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant national and international EHS regulations.
- Investigate all incidents, accidents, and near misses, recommending effective corrective actions.
- Deliver comprehensive EHS training sessions to staff and contractors.
- Act as a primary liaison with regulatory bodies and clients on all EHS matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in an EHS Officer or similar mid-senior level role.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Exceptional communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel to various project sites across Europe as required.
- Proficiency in EHS management systems and risk assessment methodologies.
