Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment on offshore facilities.
- Install, inspect, and test electrical components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
- Respond to electrical breakdowns and implement effective corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, equipment status, and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with other technical teams to ensure integrated system performance and safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in the oil and gas or offshore industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and P&IDs.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues and perform repairs efficiently.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging offshore environments.
