Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging curriculum for Grade 7/8 students in a homeroom setting.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and school administration to support student well-being and achievement.
  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of the York Region District School Board.

Requirements

  • Valid Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification.
  • Qualifications to teach at the elementary level, specifically Grades 7/8.
  • Demonstrated ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to student achievement and well-being.
