Key Responsibilities
- Inspect Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Conduct on-site quality checks and witness testing of installed ELV equipment and installations.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports, document non-conformities, and suggest corrective measures.
- Monitor the progress of ELV installations to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to address and resolve technical issues related to ELV systems.
- Ensure all ELV system installations comply with relevant local regulations and international safety standards.
Requirements
- Technical Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related engineering field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ELV Inspector or in a similar technical role.
- In-depth knowledge of various ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm, and public address systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and international standards.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
