Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to gather necessary information.
  • Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
  • Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Support project managers and sales teams with accurate cost data for bids and proposals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry (3+ years preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for client and vendor interactions.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and project documents.
