Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes and data pipelines.
- Extract data from diverse sources, transform it efficiently, and load it into data warehouses.
- Ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and consistency across all systems.
- Optimize existing data pipelines and ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data-related issues and system discrepancies promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an ETL Engineer or in a similar data engineering role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and extensive experience with various database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools and technologies (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Apache Spark, Nifi).
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and schema design.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
- Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
