Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes and data pipelines.
  • Extract data from diverse sources, transform it efficiently, and load it into data warehouses.
  • Ensure the highest standards of data quality, integrity, and consistency across all systems.
  • Optimize existing data pipelines and ETL jobs for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve data-related issues and system discrepancies promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an ETL Engineer or in a similar data engineering role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and extensive experience with various database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools and technologies (e.g., SSIS, Informatica, Talend, Apache Spark, Nifi).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and schema design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently in a remote, distributed team environment.
