Key Responsibilities

  • Perform fabrication and welding tasks according to project specifications and engineering drawings.
  • Accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
  • Operate various welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure all fabricated and welded components meet stringent quality standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with the production team to meet project deadlines.
  • Adhere strictly to all workplace safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator and Welder, preferably in heavy manufacturing or shipbuilding.
  • Proficiency in various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
  • Ability to accurately interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques and material properties.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Australia.
