Key Responsibilities
- Perform fabrication and welding tasks according to project specifications and engineering drawings.
- Accurately read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
- Operate various welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all fabricated and welded components meet stringent quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the production team to meet project deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to all workplace safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fabricator and Welder, preferably in heavy manufacturing or shipbuilding.
- Proficiency in various welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to accurately interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques and material properties.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship, and attention to detail.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Australia.
