Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and national financial regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and budget vs. actual reports.
- Provide strategic financial advice to management to support decision-making.
- Oversee treasury functions, including cash flow management and bank reconciliations.
- Support audit processes and ensure accurate financial record-keeping.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in the humanitarian or NGO sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles (e.g., IFRS, IPSAS).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Fluency in English and working knowledge of French.
