Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and financial transactions efficiently.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure strict compliance with all financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor expenditures and revenue to maintain the organization’s financial health.
- Support internal and external audit processes and ensure meticulous record-keeping.
- Collaborate effectively with project teams on financial aspects of community interventions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably 2+ years.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively and adaptably in a dynamic, community-focused environment.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Haitian Creole or French is an advantage.
